Does anyone here have their children enrolled in the option#2 Traditional Parent Directed Program? If so, can you tell me how the schedule works? She was since day one, one level behind in CLE LA, but on-level in reading (her big struggle was math). His problem is spelling. Abeka has a really good reading program with lots of Phonics reinforcement. It was just a little reader that he (literally) read by himself in one sitting. She picks up Math concepts easily and is kind of cut and dry- We have friends who use Math U See and it was just not for her. I know it is very rigorous, but we want our kids to be on grade level with their peers and the unit study approach was all over the place. What is your pick?
