Dec 26, 2023 · Yeah, I'm familiar with their Nuln Oil GLOSS and still have plenty in a pot of that, but it's the regular Nuln Oil that just doesn't seem up to the task anymore. It's a dark gray instead of black and it doesn't have nuln oil's problems with pooling and over-shading. I’ve never used the Army Painter dips, but I use their washes in preference to GW ones - they’re very similar though so I’d suggest using whichever is cheapest / easiest to get hold of.
